Danny ‘SLIM’ Gray has the ability to capture different aspects of everyday life and twist it into his own brand of comedy.
He is guaranteed to have you laughing until your belly hurts with tales of his parents, his children, relationships and other aspects of daily life.
Slim has won many awards including Best Male Comedian at the 2004 UK Black Entertainment Comedy Awards, he was voted by other black British comics as their favourite comedian in 2005 an accolade he has since won twice.
Undoubtedly one of the most consistent and talented comedians, Slim has proven his laughs by winning a plethora of industry recognised awards.
He first performed in 1993 at the Hackney Empire in front of an audience of 1,500 people.
Since then he has appeared in every major city in the UK, he is a regular on the Jongleurs, Glee, Comedy Club and Comedy Store comedy circuits and has performed at Glastonbury Festival and V Festivals as well as gracing the international circuit in Europe, the Caribbean and the US.
In 2009 Slim sold out the Hackney Empire with his one man show: I AM SLIM before a UK tour.
Slim has previously supported US acts John Witherspoon, Bill Bellamy, Kevin Hart, Eddie Griffin and Mark Curry on their UK tours.
